We will read The Orphans of Normandy, a D-Day story told from the perspective of children, as an anchor text in class.
For your homework this week, I would like you to research World War II from the people's perspective. In order to complete this assignment, I would like you to simply take notes on what you find to share with the class. Also consider why it is important to consider the perspective of everyday people and children in times of war. Whose story did you read and what did you learn that you didnt' already know about the war?
Below are a few websites that you can use. Also, feel free to look up your own!

We will not have class next week, le 12 novembre, due to the early release. I would like you to practice conjugating regular -er verbs, être, and avoir (the verbs we have gone over in class). Please click on the links below to play online verb-conjugator games. Leave a post before le 19 novembre to tell me the score you earned in order to complete your homework in time!
For the "quizlet" games: please "study" (flashcards, learn, speller, or test) the terms before you "play" (scatter or spacerace). For the "quia" games simply follow the directions to play the game.
